Introduction
Meeting of technical experts to review near
term Grid3 monitoring issues (MonALISA, ACDC, MDViewer, GridCat,
Ganglia) and information systems, MDS. Very preliminary discussions of
requirements, developoment and integration for OSG-0.
Scope and purpose:
-
Near term monitoring issues for grid3,
with an eye towards troubleshooting and gaps in our current systems.

Review of information systems in use, MDS and GridCat, near term
and longer term.

Deliverable to Taskforce and OSG collaboration board: Draft document describing a program of work for the
next 6 months in two parts (a) fixes, upgrades and maintenance of Grid3+
systems; (b) identification of techincal direction development in
OSG-0.
Note: this is meant to be an informal and discussion oriented
meeting. Slides are okay to help with the discussions.

Here we'll discuss ways to better troubleshoot and measure what is
happening. Grid3 is often sited for making charts that make the
funding agencies happy, but provide no real meaning for people trying
to work with/fix the grid.
