Introduction

Meeting of technical experts to review near term Grid3 monitoring issues (MonALISA, ACDC, MDViewer, GridCat, Ganglia) and information systems, MDS. Very preliminary discussions of requirements, developoment and integration for OSG-0.

Note: this is meant to be an informal and discussion oriented meeting.  Slides are okay to help with the discussions.

10:30 Near term goals for Grid3: Fixing and maintaining what we've got

Review experiences, issues, and clarify support

Questions to answer:
  1. What has worked well?

  2. What are problem

  3. What gaps exist for a) troubleshooting?  b) failure analysis?  c) metrics collection?  d) information systems? e) job submission/workflow schedulers f) VO interfaces and management?

Focus on Troubleshooting and Metrics

Here we'll discuss ways to better troubleshoot and measure what is happening.  Grid3 is often sited for making charts that make the funding agencies happy, but provide no real meaning for people trying to work with/fix the grid.
